OUR HISTORY

Dr. Thomas P. Meyer helped found the Georgia Heart Center over 25 years ago with Dr. Hugh Sealy, the leading cardiologist in Macon at the time, and Damon King, then president of the Medical Center of Central Georgia. The center was founded in response to the need for an active catheterization lab in the Central Georgia area. Dr. Meyer currently serves in a faculty appointment at Mercer Medical School.
